This exhibition presents master pieces from the vast collection ancient drawings of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium.

The Dutch school is the focus of the collection. Less known is the rich and diverse ensemble of Italian and French drawings.  The selection of drawings is exquisite, they are made by artists who worked in the former art centers such as Florence, Bologna, Genoa, Rome, Venice and Paris. The anthology covers three centuries and includes several drawings that the Museums have purchased or received as a gift and have never been exhibited before. This exhibition was a guest in the Bonnefantenmuseum Maastricht and the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Tours.
